Immersion Programme aimed at teachers of Spanish as a foreign language and Erasmus+ programme teachers in Mallorca

The main objective of this programme is:
-Boosting participants' Spanish language skills, building their confidence when talking about different topics, in order to achieve greater fluency by taking advantage of the different socio-cultural contexts provided by an immersion experience.

General learning objectives:
-Increasing vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, expanding knowledge of the Spanish language
-Interacting constantly with native teachers and locals in general.
-Providing a reliable natural contextual framework in which the learner can feel confident that they have the support and continuous feedback they need to progress in their learning without hesitation
-Immersing oneself not only in the language but also in the culture and history, both local and general, of the country
-Sharing and providing teaching tools that contribute to creating a more dynamic and participatory class

Homestay

During this Immersion Programme, participants will live in the home of a native Spanish teacher who is qualified and has years of teaching experience, having previously taught with Erasmus+. The maximum group size is four teachers. The aim of this reduced group is to ensure greater opportunities to speak Spanish and connect with other locals.

The stay includes:
-Large shared double room, one with an ensuite bathroom and the other with a shared bathroom
-Enjoy the garden, terraces, and the pool area. Barbecue available.
-Welcome tasting 

Meals are not included.

The house is a pretty traditional villa located in the South-East of Mallorca, near one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Es Trenc, and charming coastal villages around. The town centers are always bustling with activity from markets, restaurants, and Cafes.

Certification

At the end of the Programme, you will receive your certiification with the total hours

Group of attendants

A minimum of 2 teachers is required to participate in this Immersion Programme.

Cultural Activities

Classes are combined with a variety of cultural activities, guided tours, and nature excursions. The aim is to offer multiple scenarios for continuous interaction in Spanish. Information will also be provided on different possibilities of interest so that participants can enjoy their free time.

Programme fee per person

For a 10 days Programme 800 euros fee, including tuition and stay, covered by the grant the attendants obtain through Erasmus+ (80 euros/day). Meals are not included.

Airport transfer is not included. Extra cost of 45 euros.
